Kelly and Shelly Group is the husband and wife team of Stephen “Kelly” and Gayla “Shelly” Franklin. Together they feel extremely blessed and honored to be a part of the Domain Realty family. Since 2004, southwest Floridians know of “Kelly & Shelly” as a favorite musical duo, performing exclusively at private gated Communities, Country Clubs, Golf and Yacht Clubs from Sarasota to Marco Island. While still performing some select dates, presently, these two Realtors are focusing their same high energy approach from the stage to your doorstep. Their knowledge of these communities and amenities is of great importance and brings value to prospective buyers. Their friendly personalities immediately put clients at ease and these problems solvers always strive to deliver an exciting, fun, and stress-free buying/selling experience. Kelly and Shelly love to have fun with real estate, but when it comes time to get down to business, Kelly is laser-focused on negotiations and details that clients may miss, and Shelly is all about the numbers, computer and paperwork.
Kelly and Shelly married in 1993 and have ALWAYS been a great team. They spent many years living in Nashville, TN playing music professionally. During those years they refurbished their first home, and then spent two years remodeling their 1960’s lake house. From that point on, they knew that real estate careers were in their future. To further that goal, they moved to Florida in 2004 and started buying real estate and rental properties.
Kelly, from Huntington, WV, at 18 moved to Nashville, TN where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Music degrees at Belmont University. Shelly, from Jacksonville Beach, FL, moved to Nashville, TN to pursue a career in Country Music. She released her first record at age 15, and has made numerous appearances on television-radio, as well as many performances on the stage of the world-famous GRAND OLE OPRY.
Kelly and Shelly have a compassionate love of animals. They share their home with many “special needs” pets. For four years they operated a pet rescue, and still volunteer countless hours helping animals. Kelly and Shelly enjoy connecting with people, especially in business, when those relations result in lifelong friendships.
